I look forward to being in touch.

Free Intro Calls - What to Expect

This 20-minute phone call is a time for us to to talk about whether working together might be a good fit. I will ask to hear a little bit about you and the support you are seeking. I can answer any questions you have about me or my approach. From here, we can book your intake appointment. Please keep in mind that this intro call will not establish a doctor-patient relationship and I will not offer medical advice.

Practice Information

  • I currently only accept new patients who reside in California.
  • I see patients both in person in my office in Silver Lake, Los Angeles and remotely via telemedicine.
  • While I work on clinical research on psychedelics, I do not offer any psychedelic-assisted therapy (such as MDMA, psilocybin, etc.) in my private practice, as these substances are only legal in clinical research studies. I do not provide referrals to underground psychedelic guides nor provide illicit substances or information about how to obtain them.
  • I do offer in-office sessions with oral ketamine on a case-by-case basis.
  • I do offer psychedelic integration therapy to process past psychedelic experiences. If you are using or considering using psychedelics, I offer personalized consultation about how your psychiatric history and medications might affect the associated risk.

Fees & Insurance

  • I am not in-network with any insurance plans. Many of my patients with PPO insurance plans with out-of-network benefits get a portion of the fee reimbursed. I am happy to provide a monthly superbill.
  • If you would like to contact your insurance company directly to ask about your mental health reimbursement rates, my office zip code is 90026. The most common CPT codes I use are 99205 (for 90-minute and 120-minute intake appointments), 99215 (for 45-minute psychiatry appointments), 99213 (for 25-minute psychiatry appointments), and 99213+90836 (for weekly 45-minute psychiatry+psychotherapy appointments).
